Let’s talk: AI is now mixing and mastering tracks faster than ever. Some say it’s a game-changer for indie artists, others worry it’s killing the human touch in music production.
Where do you stand—innovation or imitation?

Great topic and one that definitely stirs up both excitement and concern in the music world. AI-powered mixing and mastering is a game-changer, especially for indie artists on a budget. It levels the playing field, giving access to polished, radio-ready sound without needing expensive studio time. That kind of accessibility is huge for creativity and output. But the flip side is real too. There's something irreplaceable about a human engineer's ear how they interpret emotion, space, and subtle tone shifts. AI might get the technical part right, but not always the intention behind the sound. So where do I stand? I’d say innovation with caution. Use AI to accelerate workflow, test ideas, or handle rough drafts but don’t lose sight of the artistry and connection that comes from a human touch. It’s not about AI vs humans it’s about how they can work together.
